Hi, What a great forum! I picked up a 1989/90 ETZ251 earlier in the year, last on the road about 1994. It's cosmetically 'challenged', but I've got it through an MOT with minimal work & expense. Now need to think about tidying it up over the winter. I've already got a couple of queries, I'll post them in the tech section.
Chris.

Hi Chris!

That means it's only been used for about 5 years: almost new... if corrosion on the inside hasn't taken its toll.

I like the expression "cosmetically 'challenged'", but if that is due to having been stored in a humid environment for 25 years, it might be useful to take the barrel off & have a look at the bearings (main, big & small end) before you start investing. Almost anything can be bought for these bikes (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9257&p=47896&sid=dd7bca9749d861dca2e4e65aa9895542#p47896).

I have a '89 ETZ251.
