Hi Scudracer!!

Sorry bout the other day. For your info ACERBIS do sale the lockable fuel tanks and u may buy this acessory from S'pore and if u planning to go down there i have the address of the shop. (They don't do delivery anyway).

I read some comment from Singapore rider whereby mostly are negative on this cap. They claim its leak when its raining and sometime the lock are difficult to open or close. But if u really want this cap it'll cost u bout RM80-140 if not mistaken.

As for a place to buy. Our mzriders member "MXSTEVEN" godfather do have a shop offering new and 2nd hand SM. U may PM him for more details on the pkg (The shop located somewhere in Klang Lama). There is this Shop in Jln Pudu KOK MOTOR where i get my SM. They offer new and used as well and the price are pretty good. They require d/p of RM 4500 for a new SM and 2500-3500 for used SM.

PM me for more details and more shop..

hi everyone ! been a while...........guys i just found out that AEON group which is the largest retailer group in japan and the owner for jusco malaysia..did a financing for motorcycle too. there are 2 option...first with zero downpayment you got 1.5 % interest per year, second with less 30% downpayment you got 1.2 % while if you paid more than 30% d/p you got 0.84% interest per year.......isnt that good news ? conventional finance charge us between 7.5 to 10 % per year...correct me if im wrong....but im not sure which bike shop offer this finance beside the shop behind my house...in 27 shah alam.....cant wait to ask if they could applied this to 125 sm....i saw only mosquito and kapchai model in that shop.

hi!

hate to be a wet blanket but from what i heard they only offer this only on cub purchases....but it's better to ask them than hear my miths.. :-D

p/s:if it's not applicable on the 125sm...i would suggest you take up a personal loan from a bank....their rates are better than those offered by bike shops... :-)

Bro for ur info AEON doesnt offer credit for bike more than RM6K++. Put it this way AEON charge on mthly basis but some bike shop i know charge on yearly basis with low late payment chg. Of course its 10% but charge once, while 1.4% charge monthly for 12 mth. Do the math and u'll see which one are much better.

hye guyz... well i'm a new user and i had a several questions. i dont know wether must i post this to a new topic or just reply it here  but i think malaysian rider is more easier for me to make a new friends..

1) recently, my bike (mz125sm) always jacking.. u know sumthing like when u reach the top gear or 5th gear u have to drop a gear or two. all this happen since i sent my bike to my dealer for serviced. when i re-sent it back, the mechanic said that "all of mz bikes is like that because it is 4 strokes and you can't pull the throttle just like that. you must pull it slowly so that the pick up will came up later."

i know that he just bullshiting on me because my bike is not like that before. do you guys have any idea how am i gonna fix my problem??

2) why there's a 3 level of choke that mz have?? one of my friends said that the third level is use when you had a problem with starting ur bike's engine.

the second level choke is used when u need to warming up your engine and when u 're ready to ride, turn the choke to the first level. is this a true fact or what???

starting

Postby DAVID THOMPSON » Wed Aug 24, 2005 1:00 pm

you do not say how many miles or km is on the bike
these engines are slow to break in about 3500 to 4000 miles before they wind freely
and some people have had trouble with the choke or enrichment
unit sticking
as for starting if warm you may not need it
mine needs it first time in the morning but its cool here by your standards
55d F or 13deg C later in the day not needed

start bike with choke wait about 20 sec and ride away
after about 200 meters start turning it off in stages
if you do it to soon bike will probely die on you also if to slow
it will run too rich and also run bad or stall it's different from bike to bike

have fun ar dave :-D

Hi oshiey,

for problem 1,i suspect it's the carb setting...try finding the air/fuel screw on it(under carb) and turn the screw clockwise until it shuts....then,turn it counter clockwise for 3 1/4 turns....if this doesn't work...refer to my personal suggestion... :D

about the choke thing....what Dave said. :D

p/s:
have you gone to the MZ glenmarie servic centre?
if you haven't...well...you should
i think they know the bike better than normal shops do.
