Running perfection

Got her running perfect. She's nearly done and legal. I changed the front tire last night. Gonna change out the rear tire tonight. Then the DMV to get plates.

after all that noise i remember why i switched to 4 cycle
its all that kicking it takes to get a 2 smoker to start

my weed eater is electric also

Congrats Eomund, on finally receiving that float you ordered! Is that an original float?

Regardless, I'm not convinced the carb is tuned entirely optimal, and I would still go back to the standard settings on level height, jets & needle.

On the noise, two strokes do not necessarily have to revved to the max, and a well adjusted MZ will start with 1 kick, 2 at most.

Agree with Puffs-

My Mz's start up in just two or three kicks- and that's without doing the stupid 'MZ starting technique'.


My Suzuki two stroke normally takes 3 or 4 kicks to start (more than the MZ) but with low compression at 6.5:1 it isn't really an issue- unless you're on the trails and already tired out.. :lol: :lol:
