i have found on my MZ bikes that brakes are best bleed by using a pump
and forcing the fluid up from the bottom so the air goes out
into the fill tank
do make sure the plunger in the master cylinder is open
and remove old extra fluid at the reservoir. at the top

they do not seem to want to get rid of air if done like most do a car

adjustment of pump do not get front lever to tight as it must be able to
pass fluid to and from the top tank

if wrong in hot weather if not open it can put the front brake on
and also may do this on the rear
your back brake locked up? check foot lever adjust system must be open to storage tank at rest

I do not have a bleed pump, but I never had big problems doing it the car way. Only on bikes I can do it all by myself.

Hi Guys,
A very interesting post, but just one small thing, when you anneal an item like copper you actually heat it till just red and then douse it in water ( not just let it cool)
Just for information, if you want to anneal aluminum, mark the alloy with a piece of white soap and heat it till the soap turns brown and that's it. Obviously using a blowlamp, it won't work in the oven.

Hi Guys,
Just had a thought about the copper, when I was smithing, we used to douse the copper in sulfuric acid/water to remove the black oxide on the surface,then in water to rinse it, so you would have to clean the oxide from the mating surfaces before reusing.

Hi Guys,
Have just had a look on/in Wikipedia, and according to them, nonferrous metals are heated and then quenched or left to cool. Now,I am writing this post because a previous post mentioned that in the annealing process of copper it is heated and allowed to cool, so, as I don't want to give anybody bum info
that's it, but I will mention that in 15 yrs as a silversmith, we always quenched on annealing.
