Following a moderator choice that is IMO biased and flawed (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed), I have withdrawn from this forum.

They are all the right way up on smartphone. Must be why they are called smart. I doubt if anyone *knowingly* posts pictures upside down.

I'm a bit of an airhead fan
This 1982 BMW R100 RT is on the bench at the moment I bought it 15 months ago from a friend who had it stored away for 27 years . I have got it started and fixed the brakes .I'm just doing some cosmetic stuff on it now

My R80/7 I have had for a few years . It needed very little work when I got it. I just replaced the headers and put some racks on it. I just acquired some wire spoked wheels for it - another small project

My R80 G/S

I have put a lot of time and energy... and $$'s into it. And haven't riden it half as much as I imagined that I would. Here it is on the way to delivering "the pudding" to a BMW Rally

Here in Australia there is a pudding that gets carried between various motorcycle rallies around the country to carry. You have to bid for the honor of carrying the pudding , the highest bidder gets to transport the precious cargo to the next rally where it is auctioned again. The money raised goes to the Royal Flying Doctors Service an airborne medical service for remote and regional Australia.

Then there's this old workhorse. I bought her pretty cheap and spent a lot of time and energy getting her up to speck. Up until quite recently the DR 650 suzuki has been the predominant tool of choice for outback touring in Oz.

Here she is crossing the Simpson desert. A friend in a ute is carrying my panniers and swag, so yes I was supported (you only get to bragg about your Simpson crossing if you do it unsupported)

I still dont have a runnabout bike, hopefully the ETZ will fill that niche
