Newbie with TS250/1

Postby Davros » Thu Feb 17, 2022 7:47 am

Hi,

Just saying hello. I have recently bought a Supa 5 having fancied something to tinker with for a while.

I own other bikes and have done for over forty years - last MZ was a TS150 in the early 80's which was stolen gradually from outside my house - long story!

Supa 5 is in generally good order but wiring looks a bit problematical in places - solid state regulator of unknown provenance installed. Kicks up second kick on the choke but cuts out after a few seconds - pilot jet seems to have a very, very small hole - new jet on order and also crank seals as a precaution.

In NE England [Gateshead].

Cheers

Hi Davey,
Welcome, the 250/1 is great fun and you are surely doing the right thing with jet and seals.
Stay safe Alan.
