TS 250 Fork Oil Weight

I've got a 74 ts 250, with no oil in the forks. Whats a good weight? A 5w, or a 10w? I saw a post on here talking about the etz's, didn't know if the same applied..

Of course its a USA bike, so it has about 90 miles... Was told it sat beside a shed, under a tarp for 30 years.. The GDR tires make me think its true.

I bought this outside of the international spy museum(during the parade of Trabants). Just couldn't resist. Mine Trabi needed a freind!

I know the seat, and lights look awful. Those tires have no wear on them. I do wonder if it was ever sold.. I think someone had some serious issues with the wiring, around the fuse box. Looks like the seat has been on, and off more times then you could guess.

The fork seals leaked all the oil out. Already got some new ones. So these bikes came over here with lucas lights. They used what ever had already been approved for the usa.
