New Baghira 2005 Street Moto Owner

I'm in NYC just got off a HONDA cbr 1000 and various sport bikes before it. I've wanted a Baggy for some time now and I finally took the plunge. Tough seat but I'm a glutton for the punishment this thing has to offer. I just installed cycra racing STEALTH DX handguards, M4 exhaust and heated handgrips made by KOSO. Pictures to come shortly!!! :-D

welcome aboard! I just return from a ride on my mastiff (a little cold at 35 deg, I'll break out the winter wear soon :-D ) Sounds like you have a good start on tuning. ps. I may be looking for a new used stock muffler for my mastiff, let me know if you'll be getting rid of your old stuff.

I just got back from a chilly night ride. I can tell you that the heated grips work great!! Koso heated grips. Got them at CBXman.com. I still have my stock can so let me know if you are interested. I put on the M4 exhaust but didn't adjust the carb jetting. Any ideas?

My Baghira ran much better with an M4 with no jetting changes. I don't think your are going to get significantly better performance by changing the carb settings. You should notice better gas mileage with the m4 also. I'm leaving this morning for a tour of shenendoah natl park. I couldn't do it without my heated vest and gloves...

I'm heading out the door so I don't have the time to find it, but if you search in the 660 forum will will find a good list of carb enhancements (poss. authered by phlat65).

I just installed heated grips also, man, why didn't I do that years ago... spent last winter trying 4 different pairs of gloves, $250 later, still cold hands. Bought the grip heaters sold by Enduro engineeering for $27.00, 2 settings, work like a charm.

I found stock was not a good fit for me ,32 in inseam, so I put a honda XR650 Ceet foam on top of stocker and covered with strech type material and it works great.

I see you just installed an M4 exhaust. I ahve been looking for one but the only ones I've found are for 2001-2003. It that what you bought? Did it come with a midpipe?
