I had planned on buying a new MZ until hearing of the company's seeming demise in the USA. I really like the Baghira, but it's a bit tall for me. I read a previous post on a low kit to lower the suspension. Is it still available and an approximate cost? I recently attended the vintage M/C auction in Vegas. A new 1000 was sold by a dealer for an auction price of $7200.00. What are the general thoughts on this price. I would have bid had I got there early enough (but I didn't know about the US pull out at that time).

You folks seem like a great bunch and a great resource. Regards, Walt

I personally don't worry about their leaving the US, I could never get anything from my local dealer anyway.

BSA Regal in the UK will post parts to us State side at very reasonable rates, and if needed, any good Yamaha tech could work on your bike.

If I had the cash, I would have bought the 1000 for that price. it may have crappy re-sale due to the demise of MZ NA, but the company is going nowhere....

mz in usa

the exchange rate did them in

current uk list for 125 sm

2,370.00 GBP United Kingdom Pounds = 4,223.84 USD

a kaw ninja 250r is 2900 to 3200 across the us

so the 125 sm would be very over priced

till they have a factory in asia that can produce quality bikes at competive
prices
they can not afford to do business here
it's a shame because the rt125 i have is one of the nicest bikes i have ever owned
