I put on the emergency brake and try to avoid the bike.. lucky me it was just the foot brake paddle twisted and turning into a "U" pattern.. damn.. I've already fix it.. and the real lucky part is .. I hit this guy bike quite hard but I dont know how the hella I just got a single scratch on my right leg .. pheww... I'm not sure wether I got super power... hahaha !

are you sure that the guy you hit wasn't someone we know?? :-D :-D :-D

bout the warranty thingy....wear n tear part are not covered....but the headlight frying thingy...must check rectifier, charging coil and connection(all if possible, ie. bulb socket, switch, connectors etc..) because those things costs big time if blown after warranty. Though there're substitutes, but that's.......another story.......(needs a new thread for it hehe)

i told u not to go to MZ center to service except warraty claim..... now you got em right through ur a$$ .... hehehe...

Okay... about the rectifier you may check it using a volt meter make sure the voltage doesent exceed 15v @5000/7000rpm which in maximum state should be 14.8v for dry cell and 13.8v @ 5000/7000rpm for wet cell.... and it should not charge lower than 13.5 @ 5000rpm

Hello fellow MZer,

Registered and I've been reading this forum for years but never post a single message. Just wanna share some experience with MZ service center at Glenmarie. Never ever go there to get your bike service. They are not lazy , just they too occupied with so many bikes came in everyday to get service under warranty. But i never deny their customer service is lousy. Last time I was there to get my both tyres change. They let me wait over 2 hours just to change front tyre and still charged me RM30 for half work done. Terrible! Then I took the rear tyre to other workshop and get it done less than half an hour and charged me just RM10.

What i normally do is, I will buy parts from their spare part department and do the service outside at other motorcycle workshop. I have my fav mechanic at Ukay Perdana. He did my bike all over again when I involved in accident twice last year. The price of the spare parts at MZ service aren't so bad. If you buy during promotion you will get extra discount. And those people in that department are very friendly too. You can call just to check the price while comparing with the price of the same component outside.
